SMC MGPM-Z Series Standard Guided Cylinder with Slide Bearings. SMC offers the most comprehensive range of bore and strokes currently available from European stock. Ten bore options from 12mm to 100mm and 15 stroke options (subject to bore) from 10mm up to 400mm.
EMC SGM Series guided cylinders are very similar to SMC MGPM-Z but offer a smaller range of options - 8 bore options from 12mm up to 63mm and three stroke options - 25, 50 and 75mm stroke. EMC can offer any stroke with an 8-10 week lead time.
Both manufacturers offer non-rotational accuracy (as low as 0.04 degrees). The SMC range is larger but the EMC range offers great savings. For example the SMC MGPM12-25Z is £160.00. The EMC equivalent of SMC MGPM12-25Z is the EM-SGM12X25-S, which is £73.40.
