Are you looking for a lightweight and robust handrail option? GRP/FRP fittings added!

If so, Interclamp FRP/GRP handrail fittings may be for you!

Due to increased popularity, we are adding FRP/GRP handrail fittings to Shop4handrail.

Why use Interclamp FRP/GRP handrail fittings?

The GRP range is designed for demanding applications and general handrailing. The material is robust, impact-resistant and non-corrosive. Fast erection is easy as there is no need for many tools or welding. Grade 316 stainless steel fasteners maintain the corrosion resistance of the complete structure.

The fittings are non-sparking. They can cope with a wide range of chemicals and so they are frequently used in water treatment facilities, chemical processing plants and marine/offshore applications. They are also used in specialist manufacturing sites where more aggressive environments may exist.

The lightweight structure is perfect for load-bearing applications such as mezzanines, stairways, and bridge structures. GRP tube is more than 60% lighter than conventional galvanised steel tube. The fittings (including screws) are approx. half the weight of steel tube fittings.

Finally, the low electrical conductivity of the GRP range is ideal for handrails and guardrails near to electrical installations such as railways.
